Norway’s Petter Solberg repeated his Q3 performance in Q4 to lead his race from lights to flag and set the fastest time, and is top qualifier in the Intermediate Classification at the penultimate round of the FIA World Rallycross Championship in Germany.

Solberg won the last race of Q4 with Kevin Hansen in second, and second overall time for Hansen lifted the recently crowed FIA European Rallycross Champion to third at the intermediate Classification. Champion elect Mattias Ekstrom did his title aspirations no harm in Q4, fourth fastest he lost top at the Intermediate Classification to Solberg but is second overall and will start on pole position for semi-final two, alongside Latvia’s Janis Baumanis.

Latvia RX winner Sebastien Loeb will start on the second row of semi-final one, with Andreas Bakkerud on his outside. Bakkerud did an incredible job to not only finish but win his race in Q4 after damaging his car’s rear suspension at the first corner. He beat Timmy Hansen by the smallest of margins after taking a last lap joker. Hansen makes it three Peugeot-Hansen 208s in semi-final one, starting next to EKS’s Topi Heikkinen on the back row as the pair both fight for points in the battle for the World RX Teams’ Championship.

Kristoffersson will start on the inside of the second row in semi-final two, next to two-time RallyX Nordic Champion Kevin Eriksson, having one of his best events of the season this weekend. 2015 Estering RX winner Davy Jeanney and Hockenhiem RX podium finisher Ken Block will start on the third row.
